Become a Member

You've come this far - don't stop now!  The benefits of membership are impossible to list on a single web page.  However, that won't stop us from listing a few.  Below is just a small sampling of the many benefits of membership:

  • Regular educational meetings on a wide variety of topics to help you gain the knowledge you need to better run your firm or department
  • Annually published Membership Directory
  • Discount on our local compensation and benefits survey, published annually
  • Access to various legal publications that include must-have information to keep you up-to-date
According to ALA Bylaws, to be a member of our local chapter (PSALA) you must also be a member of ALA. You may join ALA only without joining the local chapter. However, most people find the greatest benefit from participating in the local chapter.  To join ALA, apply online or download the application form below.  Don't forget to complete and mail in the Chapter application, too!

Please take a few moments to look at the additional information listed on your right.  You'll find additional detail on the many benefits of membership, membership eligibility criteria, and the two memberships offered by ALA. 

Don't keep this benefit to yourself.  As long as eligibility criteria are met, an unlimited number of administrators from your firm can be members.  Our Chapter membership includes members from all functional specialties within the same firms.
