She spent many years working in the National Football League (NFL) in media and public relations, as well as serving as Director of Operations for the men’s college basketball at the University of Washington.

Less than a year after launch, DWT attorneys and professional staff have used their custom AI platform (DWT.AI) over one hundred thousand times to perform simple and elaborate tasks alike. In this session, Dan will share how DWT made the decision to pursue AI tech as a core competence, the internal adjustments they made to keep engagement strong, and the types of tools they’re building. And if the vibe in the room is good, he’ll also share a few tips and tricks to increase engagement in your own projects!

Dan Szabo is a business and technology leader with an unwavering bias for action. A former U.S. Army veteran who, while deployed in Iraq, learned the value of tight deadlines, diverse perspectives, and bold decision-making as catalysts for fearless innovation. (Actually, Dan thinks that last sentence goes way too hard but his career coach insists it has “punch” so he begrudgingly left it in). But given his druthers, Dan maintains that his killer leadership feature is the ability to rapidly deliver solutions to tough organizational problems. For example, in 2022, he co-founded DWT’s first Enterprise Project Management Office, built upon the Skyview Project Management Platform, an easy-to-use app that keeps large companies moving at startup like speeds. In 2023, he partnered with Pro Bono Professionals to release The In-House Gateway to Good, an award-winning platform that connects attorneys and professional staff with pro bono and social impact opportunities nationwide. And in 2024, he went #stealthmode with his lead developer and delivered DWT.AI, an LLM-powered digital assistant that saves people tons of time every day. In his free time, Dan enjoys cooking, gardening, and woodworking.
