About the Event:

Cyber threats are still evolving, with hackers increasingly targeting employees rather than devices. As cybersecurity becomes more of a training problem than a technological one, new defenses are needed to protect against data breaches and theft. This session moves beyond typical tech recommendations to focus on communications with employees. Simplified guidance can provide firm members with manageable tactics to avoid granting access to the firm’s networks and bank accounts.

You can probably already now think of people within your firm that you need to educate. Join us to learn how.

This session is for legal administrator as well as law firm system admins.

This Session Will:

  • Update you with the latest hacker threats targeting your people.
  • Outline simplified procedures and communications for firm members to avoid fraudulent attempts.
  • Review the updated policies that firms should be adopting to assist personnel in avoiding threats.

About the Speaker – Allan Muchmore:

Allan Muchmore has been helping Seattle law firms with their security and computer needs for twenty-eight years. He has been working in the cybersecurity industry since its inception, developing one of the world’s first antivirus programs in 1990. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Allan combined his legal and technical knowledge to form Muchmore Consulting. His group works exclusively with law firms to assist with security assessments, incident response, computer forensics, and full IT support.
