The PSALA is pleased to announce that the year’s Diversity event will be a 4-week Zoom series! The series will include topics on Disability Inclusion; How to Be Welcoming to LGBTQI+ Humans; The Historic Hotel Tour presented by Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience; and Social Justice in Action: Framework for Social Justice. About the Event: Disability Inclusion
The presentation will begin with an overview of disability in the workplace and the importance of disability inclusion. It will delve into best practices, accommodations, ROI, and highlight employee success stories. It will also include next steps you can take to promote inclusion in workplace and be an ally to the disability community.
About the Speaker: Audrey King
Audrey is the Inclusive Hiring Manager at PROVAIL, a Seattle area non-profit supporting people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices. We work to support people with disabilities in employment, community living, and communication & mobility. My role focuses on helping companies facilitate inclusive hiring initiatives in their workplace.
