Washington’s tax code just underwent its biggest overhaul in decades — and law firms aren’t exempt. Join Grant Shaver and Eric Nix from Clark Nuber PS, for a practical walkthrough of the 2025–2026 legislative session and what it means for your firm’s bottom line.
This session covers the B&O tax rate increases and new surcharges taking effect in 2026 and 2027, Seattle’s Proposition 2 B&O changes, the stacking payroll taxes affecting Seattle employers, and the sales tax expansion to select services — including sourcing rules and transition guidance that matter for any firm managing client billing and vendor contracts. You’ll leave with a clear effective-date reference guide and concrete action items your firm can act on now, from use tax self-assessment to planning around the pending income tax litigation.
Whether you’re managing firm finances, vendor contracts, or long-range budget planning, this session translates complex tax legislation into what actually affects your operations.
