July 14 is Non-Binary People’s Day, a day to raise awareness of and celebrate the non-binary community. Being non-binary generally means not identifying as exclusively male or female. Some non-binary people use the pronouns they/them, but some use other pronouns. If you’re unsure of what pronouns someone uses, it’s always better to ask than to assume.
