Job Summary:
We are a downtown mid-size law firm seeking candidates for a Human Resource Manager/Director.  This position will oversee recruiting, on/offboarding employees, employee relations, practice group staffing, salaries, benefits, compliance and more.

Essential Job Duties:
Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement; properly staff practice groups; identify training and future development needs; administer salary and benefits programs; stay updated on changes in employment law and benefits legislation

Experience:
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Director in a legal environment for at least 10+ years; ability to problem solve that aligns with organizational goals and values, has handled benefits and compliance.

Education: BA/BS or equivalent work experience. SHRM-CP, PHR, or HR Certification(s) a plus

Qualifications:
Experience with and understanding of state and federal employment law/regulations, excellent comprehension of benefits (e.g., health care, retirement, FMLA, COBRA, Medicare integration, HSA, S-125, HIPAA; strong interpersonal skills & technical abilities.

Salary: $125-175K
